Vacation Time!!!  I have been looking forward to this trip since June when we booked it!  We spent 9 wonderful days in Utah and we had so much fun seeing family and friends.  We also had fantastic weather almost the whole time we were there.  Blue skies, sunny and warm...what more could you ask for?  Our trip started with getting up at 3:30am (eastern time) to make our 6am flight time.  We had great flights, only a short layover in Denver.  We were pretty exhausted that first day, so we didn't do much.  We did watch the Utah/USC game, but it did not turn out so great for Utah.  Friday we headed to Manti to see Eric's friend get sealed in the Manti temple.  Eric had most of his friends there and it was fun to hang out with them.  Eric's parents were also married in the Manti temple, so it was neat for him to go and see it.
We went to the Utah State/BYU game on Friday night with my dad, Chelsey, Matt and Kenzie.  Since I am not a fan of either team, I didn't have much to cheer for.  Turns out, no one else did either!  The final score was 6-3, for BYU.  It was one of the most boring games I have ever been to.  But I loved the company I was with!
We spent the weekend with my family, watching conference, celebrating birthdays, going bowling, holding cute baby Talon and bribing Emery to like us! Haha!  She actually warmed up to us pretty fast, I guess when you have a train on your iPad it's hard to resist!  On Monday night we went to Hotel Transylvania with my parents, and Chelsey.  We really liked the movie, it was cute and funny.  Definitely a good Halloween movie to buy.  After the movie, I finally got to eat at Zupas!! I have been waiting so long to go there, I love it!  And it was still as delicious as ever.
On Tuesday we went to City Creek and Temple Square.  We also went to the roof of the conference center, since neither of us had done it before, it was pretty cool!  We visited with Jason, Mandy and the kids that night as well.  As much as I love living here and having this time to ourselves, I do miss living by family and friends.  Wednesday I was able to stop by my old work and see some good friends, and have a girl's night with some of my BFF's.  We also had lunch at Kneaders with Eric's family that live in Bountiful, his aunt, uncle, and other uncle and cousins.  It was so much fun seeing everyone!!
We spent Thursday in Logan with Kenzie, Matt, and the kids, and it was Eric's first time there.  So we headed to the temple, and Utah State campus.  It was such a beautiful day that we stopped at the creamery for an ice cream break!  We had so much fun spending the day with them,  I wish we could live closer so we could hang out all the time!  We also stopped by the Brigham City temple, and got some pics, it is a very pretty temple.
On Friday we had rain...lots of it!  We visited my grandma, I'm not quite sure if she will remember that we came by, but it was good to see her and I am glad that we went.  We went to dinner at the Red Rock Brewery with my other BFF and her husband that night and it was so great to see her!  We ended the night getting ice cream with Eric's friend and wife.  We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives!!
We ended our vacation with a short trip to Scheels, we had to see what all the fuss was about!! It's a pretty cool store, very big, and very busy!  One last thing I have to mention, I know, this is a really long post, and if you have made it this far....congrats!!  But I don't want to forget anything!  I meant to get a picture of our rental car, because when we rented it online we said we wanted an intermediate car, but all they had was a Silverado truck or a Taho!  So we drove around in style in a 4 door truck!  I was a little weary of it at first, but ended up liking it.  It was pretty fun to drive, even if I couldn't park it.
We had such a wonderful time, and didn't want to come back to real life....who does?  Now it's back to work, but we do have San Antonio to look forward to in just 3 weeks!! Can't wait!

Looks like you guys had a fun filled trip back to UT! Love seeing all of the pictures. It's kind of sad that Gma isn't all there any more.
