| These chairs have been in Fenway Park since it was built. It is the original wood and all. |
We spent a weekend in Boston a couple of weeks ago and had so much hanging out with our friends, Rich & Cherise, and seeing all of the sights! It was a very hot and humid weekend, but we survived. We flew in early Saturday morning and began our site seeing soon after getting there. The first thing we did was walk around the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail basically covers the whole city of Boston, and you can see all of the historical sights, cemeteries, monuments and parks. We walked, and walked, and walked! It was really neat to see all of the history. They even have a mini Washington Monument!
We took it easy on Sunday, going to church, seeing the temple, and Walden Pond. The pond was really pretty, they even have a sandy beach area. On Monday we went to Plymouth Rock....it's not very impressive. There's even a sign that says it probably wasn't the rock that they first took a step on, but it is an old rock. The area is really pretty though. We also walked around Harvard campus, and took a tour of Fenway Park. It was really cool! It was a great little mini vacation and we had a lot of fun seeing all there is to see in Boston!
