We went to Michigan/Indiana the second weekend of August to attend one of Eric's best friends wedding!  We left after work on Wednesday and got to Michigan early Thursday morning.  I didn't know how I would do riding in the car for so long being 7 months pregnant, but it wasn't too bad.  It did feel like it took forever to get there, probably because we had to sit in traffic getting out of the city.  I took the first shift in driving and we had a major rain storm pretty much through the whole state of Pennsylvania.  It was horrible, after that I decided that I was not the biggest fan of Pennsylvania!  Luckily we had perfect weather driving home so my hatred subsided a little.

The wedding was on Saturday evening.  It was perfect weather for a wedding!  It was only in the 70's the whole time we were there.  It was beautiful, and even got a little chilly at night!  It's been such a strange summer here!  The wedding was nice, and Brittany (the bride) surprised everyone by arriving to the wedding in a police truck with the sirens on!  Both her and Joel (the groom) are police officers, so they have some connections.  :)  I couldn't get a good picture of it though because everyone else was trying to get one!  I really didn't get great pictures of the wedding party coming down the aisle, but I tried!

We had time to spend with Eric's parents and grandparents as well during our time there.  It was a great weekend, and really nice to get away and have some time off work.  I just wish it could have been a little longer, I never want vacations to end!
