15 Months and a Birthday

Camden has started to put on Eric's shoes and try to walk around in them.  What a goofball!

Camden was 15 months on January 18, 2015.  Here are his stats:

Height:  31" (50%)
Weight:  21.8 lbs (15%)
Head Cir.:  18.5 (40%)

He is our average boy, his weight is still in the lower percentile, but the Dr. said that he looks really good!  He had to get three shots, all boosters of things he had before.  He didn't really like being examined by the nurse or Dr., he would try to move their hand or whatever they were trying to do.  He also was not a fan of the shots, but he only cried when he got them, and then stopped after.  He is getting to be such a big boy!  He has quite the personality.  He has a temper, and I fear that will just keep getting worse as we get closer to the terrible two's!  He can be very aggressive, and hit and just want to be rough.  He also has a very sweet side that will cuddle, give hugs, and come sit by, wait scratch that, sit on you, but that side doesn't come out as often.  He is a BIG daddy's boy!  If dad is around, he wants to be with him, doing whatever he is doing.  He really doesn't want much to do with me when dad is around.  I do get to spend all day with him though, and he likes to follow me around and be right where I am, he isn't a fan of being by himself.
He LOVES basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, baseballs, any kind of ball!  If he is somewhere he will seek out a ball and play with it.  He got a basketball hoop for Christmas, and loves to dunk the ball and can make baskets from throwing the ball as well.  He also likes cars, blocks, his musical phone, and barrel of monkeys.  He has become pretty good at building towers with his blocks, but he will take yours apart if you start building one.  He is curious and likes to get into everything.  He may not like being alone, but I really can't leave him alone anyways because he will get into things he isn't supposed to.  He doesn't say a lot of words, but he says momma and dadda all the time.  He also says uh-oh all the time.  When he gets a ball he will say got it, then when he throws it he will say get it!  I think we say that to him a lot!  He jabbers all day long.
He has started to watch shows and movies for longer periods of time now.  He likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Bubble Guppies, Sheriff Callie, and pretty much any movie/show that has a good amount of singing in it.  He has 4 teeth on top, 4 on bottom and is working on his molars.  He is a good eater most of the time.  Some of his favorites are chocolate milk, chicken nuggets, cheetos, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, broccoli, corn, peas, carrots, string cheese, nutragrain bars, goldfish, most crackers, waffles, french toast, pancakes, and fruit pouches.  Sometimes it is hard to find things to give him because he wants to feed himself, but he will still let me feed him when I make something he can't pick up.  He hasn't really had much of an interest to use a fork or spoon by himself yet.
He loves to be outside.  Is still a good sleeper, goes to bed around 8-8:30pm and will sleep until 8:30-9am and then take a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.  I'm hoping he keeps up this habit, because it's a schedule that I really like!  :)  He has the best smile and laugh, but really, baby laughs are the best!  Will sit and let you rub his back, loves the bath or shower, is happy most of the time, and brings us so much joy every day!  Even on the days when I am just done with him and the day, he will smile at me and give me a hug and it makes it all worth it.  We love our Camden boy so much and are so happy he is in our family!
My birthday was last week, and I got to spend the whole day with just Camden!  Eric had to work late for a deadline, so we didn't do much, but we celebrated later in the week by going to Red Robin and then having cake and ice cream with the Clarks!  I received a gift card to get a mani/pedi from Eric and Camden and I am very excited to go use it!  We also face timed with my parents and Chelsey since I share my birthday with my mom.  It was fun to see them even though we couldn't spend the day together.  It was still a good day, even if it wasn't very exciting!
