28 Weeks and Utah

I was 28 weeks on March 15th.  I am still feeling good, just tired a lot.  When I went to my appointment, Brittney watched Camden.  He is really attached to Eric and I, so he wasn't too happy to be left.  She said he sat like this with the blanket over his head for about 5 mins!  He would peek out to see the show they had on, and then after that he was good and had fun playing with his cousins!  He's been especially clingy and attached because of the molars that he is working on.  He currently has 2 on the top and is working on some on the bottom.

Camden stole my phone and was taking pics,  but not on purpose.  This was the only one that wasn't blurry...his feet and grandmas! Ha!

Camden loved taking Brayden's hand and pulling him around wherever he wanted to go.

Me at 29 weeks and Kenzie at 22 weeks! :)

Camden stole some of Kenzie's fries, put them in the cup and really enjoyed them, all while sitting on the table at Zupas!

We got to spend 4 days in Utah last weekend.  We left super early on Thursday, the 19th.  Eric was invited to go to a recruiting event at BYU for EY and they said they could bring their wives.  So of course we took advantage of the free trip and had so much fun seeing our family!  We had a direct flight to Utah, but it left at 6am...super early, at least it was only 2 1/2 hours and we were there.  Camden was pretty good on the plane.  He was exhausted from being woken up and after lots of wiggling, attempts at snacks and a movie on the iPad, he ended up falling asleep for the last hour and a half of the flight.
We spent pretty much all of our time just hanging out with family.  Camden loved playing with his cousins, especially Brayden.  He would grab his hand and pull him around and try to wrestle with him.  The first night we were there, I got a kidney stone and had to go to the ER to get some drugs to help with the pain.  It was a little ridiculous because they made me go to the labor and delivery first just because I was pregnant.  I told them it didn't have anything to do with the baby, but they wouldn't see me in the ER until I went there.  After about an hour in labor and delivery, where they monitored the baby and took a urine sample, they sent me back to the ER and I saw the Dr. and he gave me the pain meds.  The funny thing was, I was in extreme pain for about 3 hours before deciding to go to the hospital and once we got there, it wasn't as bad.  It had moved or something because I was feeling better.  I decided to still go, because I didn't want to risk waking up later with the pain all over again! While in the hospital the pain started to come back, so I was grateful to get the meds so that I could go home and get some rest.  It turned into a really long day, since we had woken up so early to fly.  I'm still not sure if I ever passed it, but I only had to take the meds once the next day and have felt fine since.  I think I am cursed with getting a kidney stone every 4 years.  I have had 2 previous, one in 2007 and another in 2011, not sure if it is a coincidence or not!
On Friday we did a little shopping at the outlets, Eric got to play basketball with some friends and we hung out with family and of course watched a little March Madness, since it was the opening weekend of the tournament.  Saturday Eric and I had to go to the recruiting event at BYU.  He participated with the candidates, while I just sat at one of the clues for the scavenger hunt and chatted with a friend, Kim, from our Virginia ward!  I was so glad that she was there, because we really just sat, waiting for each group to come get their clue, for 2 hours!  It was fun to catch up with her.  We had lunch and then were able to go home.  So it was pretty easy for getting a free trip out of it!  After the event we went with my family to Temple Square, it was a beautiful day and the blossoms and flowers were out.  Unfortunately, it was really windy, which made it less fun to walk around.  So we walked a little, took some pics and then headed to dinner at Zupas.  Camden loved walking around and thought that he could go wherever he wanted.
Sunday we went to church and then had dinner with all of the family.  It was such a fun time to see everyone and catch up!  Camden had so much fun playing on the piano, trying to get into everything he could, jumping on the trampoline, and just being outside because they have grass and he could!  He really slept well while we were there, except Sunday night, of course since we were leaving in the morning on Monday.  Our flight left Monday at 9:50am, and Camden was good on the plane again.  He had a freak out session in the airport at breakfast where he cried for about 20 mins, but after that he was ok.  He watched Rio 2 on the iPad, had a few snacks and ended up falling asleep for the last hour.  So I can't really complain.  He didn't really cry or bother anyone else, so I would say it was a success!  We are so glad we were able to go, even if it was short.  Now we only have about 2 more months until baby girl joins our family!
