Michigan Part 1

I have so many pics from Michigan that I have to split it up into a couple of posts.  Our flight to Michigan was super early, but the kids did pretty good considering.  One dumb thing about our flight was that even though we booked Camden and my seat through travelocity and Eric's was done through work, they put Camden and Eric next to each other on the plane.  Now, that is fine, but the reason they told us they did that was because they had the same last name, so they just assumed!  It frustrated me because how can you just assume we are related even if it is an uncommon last name!  Plus the flight was booked, so we weren't even close to each other.  They had me at the front of the plane, Eric and Camden were in the back.  Sienna was pretty good on the plane, but she only slept about 15 mins.  Then she cried/whined for about the last hour.  Luckily the guy next to me didn't seem to mind, and was nice about it.  Camden was pretty good as well, didn't fall asleep at all, but was entertained by the iPad and snacks.  I was so glad it was a direct flight and we got there in about 2 1/2 hours!

When we arrived in Detroit, Eric's parents picked us up and then we had about a 2 hour drive to there house.  Both kids fell asleep and got a good nap in!  After we got to their house and let the kids play for a bit we loaded up the kids to drive about 45 mins to Indiana for Remi's birthday party.   The kids had lots of fun playing outside, eating cake, and getting to ride the train!  They have an amazing play room in their basement, it's a kids dream!  Both Camden and Sienna loved it.  Sienna loved riding the little train, she would even do it herself, with Eric's help getting on!  It was a long day, but lots of fun!

I know it is a picture overload, but I can never pick what to post, so I post too many!  We went with our friends, the Otis' and Warren's, to the Fort Wayne Zoo.  It was kind of a chilly day, and we got rained on a couple of times, but we had a blast!  The zoo wasn't very busy because it was a Monday and cold.  It was perfect for the kids because they could run up to all the animals and see them when they wanted.  Camden loved seeing all the animals, and just being able to run and around and be silly.  Sienna sat in the stroller most of the time, and by the end she even fell asleep for a bit.  We ended our day with dinner at Texas Roadhouse.  It doesn't get much better than that!
