Everly 4 Months

4 Month Stats:

Weight:  12 lbs 4 oz   (15%)

Height:  24.5 inches   (50%)

Head:  15.75 inches   (30%)

This girl is already 4 months old!  I feel like time is just flying by!  She is healthy and happy, just small and petite like her sister.  She is a couple of ounces smaller than Sienna at this age, but the same height.  We thought for sure she was bigger, but not so!  She is long and lean like her brother and sister!  She had to get 4 shots at the Dr. and did really well with them, only cried a little.  I think Sienna screamed and cried more, and she only had to get a flu shot!  Sienna is not a fan of the Dr. office, she cries before we even open the door to go inside.  

Everly is in 3 month and 3-6 month clothes.  She eats about every 3 hours.  She unfortunately has started the 4 month regression in her sleeping.  She has been getting up every night for the last week to eat.  I want to just let her cry it out and not get up with her, but it wakes up Eric.  So I have been getting up and feeding her, but I'm hoping she'll figure it our soon and will go back to sleeping through the night.  She goes down at 9:30pm and will sleep until about 8am.  She takes about 4 naps during the day.  I haven't put her on a nap schedule yet, but she usually takes her long nap in the afternoon in her swing.  

She still doesn't like tummy time, but holds her head up really well.  She sits in the bumbo, but hasn't figured out how to hold toys yet, so she gets bored easily!  She loves her blankets and will pull them up around her face to eat them and likes them close to her when she naps.  She loves to play with her hands and put them in her mouth a little.  She isn't drooling much, but the Dr. did say he could feel a little bit of a bottom tooth that will be coming.  He said probably not too soon though.  

She had her first cold at about 3 1/2 months.  It was so sad, she was all stuffy and had a cough.  It took about a week and a half to go away.   She loves bath time, and will kick her legs in the water. 

She smiles all the time, and loves to be talked to.  I have got her to giggle, but she is pretty stubborn with it.  She loves to be held, and is very loved by her siblings.  Sienna is always giving her hugs and kisses.   She is a sweet little baby and we love her so much!  So grateful she is in our family!
