I mean, seriously, those cheeks!
Everly is 8 months old already! This girl is so fun, we love her so much. She is also kinda lazy....she really doesn't have a desire to move around a lot. She sits up and just stays where she is. She will reach for things, and a few times has reached too far and fallen on her face, and then she will just lay there and cry, without trying to move or do anything! Ha! One of these days she will figure it out. She doesn't like being on her belly either. And if you put her on her back she will just lay there. Never tries to roll. It's crazy to me, she is just so content with not moving. I guess in a way, it's not a bad thing!
She is eating breakfast, lunch and dinner these days. She loves real food more than baby food, which is not surprising. She has had rice, crackers, bread, noodles, nutrigrain bars, cheerios, and potatoes. She loved all of them. She likes the fruit/veggie pouches as well. She has tried yogurt, but is not a fan of it yet. She has figured out how to drink out of a sippy cup if I hold it for her. She will not put food in her mouth though, she will pick it up and then just leave it in her fingers. I don't know why, I keep showing her!
She takes two naps a day, and is not sleeping through the night. She will wake up anywhere from 1-3 times a night. It can get exhausting, especially when my 4 year old also wakes up to go potty, and then doesn't always go back to sleep and will lay on my floor making noise. :( She is still sleeping in my room, but I really need to get her out. Hopefully in the next month we can move her so we can all get more sleep.
She thinks her brother and sister are pretty funny, sometimes she will just watch them and then start laughing. She is much more smiley now, and it's easier to get her to laugh. She still loves her feet and playing with our fingers. She likes watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, mostly just for the songs.
She has had one bottom tooth pop through. She is not a good teether, and gets pretty grumpy, but no drool. She is wearing mostly 6-12 month, 6 month and some 9 month clothes for tops and dresses. 3-6 month for pants. She has tiny feet though and is just barely fitting into 3-6 month size shoes!
She is pretty sweet and we are so grateful that she is in our family and that we get to see her grow and learn!
