Final Four + Championship

We got to go to the Final Four and Championship for NCAA Basketball!  It was so fun.  Originally, Eric was going to buy a ticket and go with Christian, but at the last minute, like literally the night before the game, he got 2 free tickets from a partner at his firm.  So I got to go with him.  Christian and Jackie went, and their other brother, Mark and his girlfriend, Jessica, came from Arizona.  She is a big Kansas fan.  So we got to have a fun date night!   It was downtown at the Alamodome.  Our seats were in the middle section, kinda behind the basket, but still good seats.   There were times we couldn't really tell if the ball went in the basket, but hey, the tickets were free, so no complaining! The Michigan/Loyola Chicago was the first game, and it was a fun game, and we were so excited that Michigan won.  It made going totally worth it.  The second game was a blowout, not even very fun to watch unless you were a Villanova fan.  

I wasn't planning on going to the Championship game.  I didn't want to have to leave Everly again and have Eric's mom have to deal with putting her to bed again.  Because she wasn't very good for her, but Eric convinced me that I needed to go, so we bought tickets and went with the same crew!  We didn't have seats by anyone, but we were in the lower bowl, closer to the action.  We had to stand for a lot of the game to even see it!  The first half was fun, but the second half turned into a blowout, so not so fun.  But it was a fun experience and I'm glad that we were able to go.  Also so thankful for a very nice Mother and Father-in-law who were willing to deal with my kids both times!  It was fun to get out and do something with just Eric.
