LBJ Lake

Trying to catch some fish!

S'more's!  They loved them!

Movie before bed time.

These girls have no idea how to play ping pong! :)

Going out on a canoe ride

Camden and Maddox jumped in the water.  It was freezing!  We got them to jump in twice, but they said no more after that.  It was too cold!

Sienna wasn't really into taking pictures in the flowers...so she would pretty much only do silly faces. Haha!  In her defense it was really hot and she didn't want to stand in the sun anymore!

She has no idea how to slip 'n' slide! Ha!

We spent a short day and a half at the lake house on Easter weekend.  We went up Friday and came back Saturday evening because we wanted to be back for Easter.  We didn't have the boat to go out on, it got really damaged in the fall when they had a lot of flooding there.  So we spent time trying to catch fish, going out on the canoe, and the girls went to some Strawberry fields to see if we could pick some.  Strawberries ended up being a bust, there were basically no strawberries, they were very picked over.  But it was fun to just get out and do something!  Sienna and Kinsley had fun trying to find strawberries and also trying to avoid the huge mud puddles!  It has been very rainy here! We did get some yummy strawberry lemonade though and a strawberry smoothie.  We also stopped and got some pictures by the pretty wildflowers.  The pictures really don't show how pretty they were.  Sienna was not into taking any more pictures, hence all the silly face ones!  It was really hot and she was overly tired.  When we got back we got the slip 'n' slide out to cool all the kids off.  My kids have no idea how to do it, it was pretty funny.  I think Sienna was the slowest slip 'n' slider I have ever seen!  They had fun though!  Then we packed up, went to dinner and headed home.  It was the quietest ride home.  Sienna and Camden feel asleep about 5 minutes into the trip.  Everly was up, because she had napped that afternoon, but she was really good.  So it was a short, but fun little getaway.  The kids are already asking to go back!
