My baby is two! It's been a fast two years with this little girlie! She's sweet, sassy and so fun! When we went to the Dr. a few weeks after her birthday, she was really not too fond of anyone touching her. But the good thing was that she didn't have to get any shots! So she lucked out! He said she is growing great!
She got to open her presents first thing in the morning on her birthday, with some help from daddy and her brother and sister. She was so excited to see everything, especially all of her Minnie stuff. Minnie is her favorite right now! She got a baby alive mermaid doll, purse, big bouncy ball, Minnie remote control car, and a Minnie book that has sounds from us. She got a cute Minnie and Daisy magnetic dress up dolls from the Rowley's and Hills, Minnie lego blocks from G&G Clark, money from G&G Teachout, a book and barbie from the Kinnison's, and the cutest Minnie backpack, sunglasses and swimsuit from the AZ and UT Clark's! She is obsessed with it! She was so spoiled, thank you everyone!
After opening her presents we went to the pool with the Kinnison's. She saw the big floaty they brought and just had to sit on it. She was the queen of it! We had a lot of fun in the water. She really loves being in the water, although she hasn't quite figured out how to float on her own with the puddle jumper. But she much prefers being out in the water to just sitting on the side. Later that night we had her and Sienna's little party with our family here. I did little cakes for each of them, and they turned out pretty cute!
Everly is our little character. She loves to take her brother and sisters toys just to make them mad. She thinks that she can get away with doing anything because she is the baby. She isn't speaking very much English yet, but she is talking a lot. Lots of baby talk for this girl. She won't really repeat what you want her to say, but she does say quite a few words and phrases. She is such an observer that I think she just likes listening to everyone and watching and then when she feels like it is time she will do it. That's kind of how it's been with everything with her, crawling, walking, eating...she does it on her own time! She does like to yell no at us when she doesn't like something or want us to do something...it's pretty funny how she says it.
She loves her muslin blankets, and pretty much any baby doll. She has about 5-10 babies sleeping her bed with her on any given day. She loves pointing out all the babies to me as well. She will see one from across the store and start pointing and saying baby! She loves books, and is always getting into them all. She really doesn't have a favorite toy, she will find something and play with it for a few days and then move on to something else.
She loves to follow mom around, and lately she has become a big fan of daddy. She will only sit with him at church, and wants him to drop her off at nursery. She does really well in Nursery as long as there is a woman in there. She loves snack time, and singing time. She knows the actions to Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes; Popcorn Popping, and the Wise Man songs.
She's a good sleeper, when she's not being woken up in the morning by her sister or brother. They also think it is fun to get her out of her crib, but mom thinks otherwise. She doesn't climb out of her crib so I really don't enjoy when they get her out. She takes one afternoon nap, usually 2-3 hours. She is a picky eater. It can be challenging to find something for her to eat. She still eats the fruit/veggie, yogurt, and oatmeal pouches. She loves bread, rice, potatoes, strawberries, spaghetti, and pancakes. She doesn't really watch TV very long, but she does like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Abby Hatcher, Dora, and Pat the Dog. Kind of random shows, but when she sees them she gets excited! She always wants to watch movies in the car, but we only turn it on when we are going someone a little further away.
She loves jumping on the trampoline all by herself. She won't allow any one else on, not even mom and dad. She loves to be outside and ride the little cars and bikes. She loves bubbles and always wants to do them.
We love this little lady so much and are so grateful that she is in our family. She gives really great hugs and snuggles and has the best cheeks for kissing! She's learning and growing and I can't wait to see what she learns next. She brings so much joy to our family. Happy Birthday, Everly!
