Camden is 6! He has turned into an Avengers and Star Wars fan, so it was all about that for his birthday! He had to go to school on his birthday, but we managed to open his presents before school started. He was so excited about all of his presents, they were all the things that he wanted. He got a Spider-Man costume, remote control BB8, R2D2 stuffed animal, Spider-Man walkie talkies, and star wars shirt from us. Lego Ninjago spinners from the Rowley's, Black Panther toy from the AZ Clark's, Spider-Man and Star Wars legos from G&G Clark and Chelsey/Chase, Money from G&G Teachout and UT Clarks, Star Wars light sabers from Teachout's, and more Lego Ninjago spinners from the Kinnison's. He was so spoiled and really loved everything. Thank you all so much!
He had a great day at school and we got to bring some cupcakes for the class and they sang Happy Birthday to him while we were there. He doesn't love the attention when it's all about him, but I think it makes him feel special. That evening was actually the school's big Fall Festival, Gator Fest. He was really excited to go to it, since they talk about it so much at school. We bought a bunch of tickets for them to all do the booths, but then when we got there, I think he was so overwhelmed, that he didn't know what to do! Sienna ended up getting sick while we were there, threw up all over herself while we were eating dinner. So I left with the girls and Eric stayed with Camden since we still had so many tickets left. They ended up using them all and having a good time! We did his cake with Eric's family a couple of nights later. He wanted a red cake with white frosting, and cupcakes, so that's what we did! He loved it!
Camden is loving school. He loves to learn and is really starting to catch on to reading. He still loves to draw and color and tells me that he wants to be an artist or a fire fighter when he grows up. We drop him off in the cafeteria each day for school, but he won't allow me to go into the cafeteria. I have to hurry and tell him bye, have a great day! And love you, before he runs in. Pretty soon he probably won't even let me walk him in at all! He's still not a morning person and doesn't like to be woken up, so some mornings can be a struggle. But he's always happy to go to school.
He loves to run around and try to scare his sisters. He loves making them scream and run away from him. He's always so full of energy, and loves being outside. He loves to jump on the trampoline, play at the pool, ride his bike and scooter, and play soccer. He also loves to dribble the basketball around the house. He's very into superhero's right now, especially the Avengers. Spider-Man is his favorite, with Black Panther a close second. He also really likes star wars, especially BB8. He tells me he doesn't like Pokemon anymore, but I still find him playing with those toys and stuffed animals a little. He loves to wrestle with his sisters, I never thought I would tell them to get off of each other as much as I do! :) He's always asking to play video games or watch shows as well.
Camden is happy, determined child. He gets frustrated easily when he doesn't know how to do something, but he doesn't quit. He is teaching me a lot about patience. :) For the most part he is always trying to do what is right and fair and follow the rules. We are so grateful that Camden is in our family. He brings an energy and love in to our family and we love him! Happy Birthday, Camden!
