Visitors

We had our first visitors come!  One of Eric's best friends, Joel, and his girlfriend Brittany (who are now engaged...we are so excited for them!!) came to stay with us for a few days to see the sights!  They flew in on Memorial Day night.  We picked them up from the airport and then drove around a little bit to show them DC at night.  We also tried, and failed, to go to this great little crepe restaurant.  We forgot that it was Memorial Day and it was closed!  It was really a bummer cause we walked to it from the White House, and it was a really hot and humid night.  The next day Eric and I had to work all day, so they were on their own to see the sights.  Eric took the next day off to go with them, but unfortunately I couldn't.  I am technically still a temp at my job, so I have no time to take off.  They had a lot of fun though.  They went to a few sights and lunch at We the Pizza.  I heard it was yummy!  Wish I could have been there.  When I got off work we drove them down to Richmond to meet up with Joel's mom and sister.  We got into some major traffic on the way back because of construction and didn't get home until about 1am.  An hour and a half drive turned into 3 hours.  It was not fun!!  We are so glad they were able to come and visit though!  It was so much fun and we can't wait for more people to come visit!
