Our New York Ornament!

We spent last weekend in New York City!!  We drove up on Saturday morning with our friends, Neal and Katie.  It was REALLY busy, obviously the city always is, but it was even more busy with Christmas.  We walked around Central Park, and were going to ice skate, but after seeing the line...decided against it.  We went to Fifth Avenue after and that street was crazy!  We stopped at FAO Schwarz to see the Big Piano, and there was a line just to get in the store!  Of course it was packed, but we saw it and they had LOTS and lots of toys.  They also have an impressive collection of "Big Candy".  They look pretty cool, but so not worth how much they want for it.  We also walked around Nike Town, and as we were leaving we spotted Spike Lee!  The pic we have isn't the best, but we didn't want to bug him for one.  Then we were off to Times Square and of course, the main attraction, the Rockefeller Tree!!  Both areas were packed.  It was pretty difficult to get to the tree, but it was so cool to see.  I have always wanted to see it in person, and I loved it!!
On Sunday we saw the Temple, and went to the 9/11 Memorial.  It was a rainy and cold day, but the memorial was really neat to see.  It was hard to get a good picture of it, but it is really cool.  I'm really glad that we were able to go.  We left Sunday afternoon, so it was another whirlwind weekend.  It was a really great trip though, we had tons of fun!  Now there's only 6 more days until Christmas!!  YAY!!
