We celebrated Eric's 29th birthday on Oct. 2nd. We really didn't do anything too exciting, because it was on a Wednesday, and we both had to work. We did go to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory though and it was yummy as usual! You really can't go wrong when you eat there! I had a hard time thinking of something to get him for his birthday, but ended up getting him a fitness watch and Michigan shirt, and they were both a big hit! He really likes the watch and being able to track his workouts.
The next night my ward threw a shower for me. I didn't really expect to get a shower, but my visiting teacher and a couple of friends wanted to give me one. As you can see from the picture, we ended up getting a ton of stuff! It was really nice of our ward, and we feel very blessed to live in this area. They were all so generous! We are so blessed to have met so many wonderful and sweet people here and it is going to be a little sad when we move away. It has been a wonderful ward to be a part of. My department at work was also nice enough to take me to lunch for a little shower at work, and gave us our carseat! We now have pretty much all we need for our sweet boy (and much more!) and can't wait for his arrival!
