Wasn't thrilled about getting his picture taken.
9 months already?! Where does the time go? Here are the stats:
Height: 29" (75%)
Weight: 17 lbs (5%)
Head: 17.7" (40%)
He is a growing boy, but as you can see, not so much in his weight! The Dr. was a little concerned about it, so we have to go back in 6 weeks for a weight check. Camden had hand, foot, mouth disease and had been teething a lot, so we think that is why he didn't gain as much this time around. He eats food 3 times a day now and nurses about every 3-4 hours. So I am not starving him! I have tried a few new things with him, eggs, string cheese, noodles and cottage cheese. He LOVES cottage cheese, but the other stuff he didn't really care for. He still eats oatmeal, yogurt, fruits & veggies, his little puff snacks and also really likes cheetos. (Don't worry, it's the all natural ones!) He also loves water and juice and drinks really well out of sippy cups. The cup and straw ones. He always wants to eat & drink whatever I am having.
Camden has 2 teeth! Finally!! I have been trying to get a picture of them, but no luck so far. This kid is all over the place. He stands up to EVERYTHING. He crawls all over the place. He is very clingy and cries when we leave the room. He has found his tongue and for a couple of days he would stick it out if you did. He is all Boy, loves being loud and throwing things and thinks it's funny when he hits you. Gonna have to work on that one! He LOVES balls, basketballs, bouncy balls, soccer balls, footballs, any kind of ball. He likes to play fetch with himself, he will throw it and then go get it. It's pretty funny to watch. He is happy for the most part, but this teething business is rough! It's not fun for any of us. He is sleeping much better through the night, usually only wakes up once. Yay! Still likes bath time and takes usually one really good nap, about 2-3 hours and then if I can get him to take a 2nd one, it's usually only about an hour. But it's usually a fight and he cries. But he really needs it, and let's be honest, so do I!
He has the best little laugh, and I love hearing it every day! He is our crazy boy but we love him and he brings so much joy to our family. Being a mom is not easy or glamorous all of the time, but I wouldn't trade it for anything and I am so grateful that I get to be home with my boy! He just needs to stop growing up so fast! ;)
