Sienna 9 Months

9 Month Stats:

Our petite girl is already 9 months old!  It's going by so fast with her, I really want time to slow down!  This girl loves to eat, although you would never know that by her stats.  She will eat and eat and eat some more.  I usually have to cut her off.  She loves oatmeal, any fruit or veggie, any baby food-she loves the chicken/beef ones with little bits, nutrigrain bars, cottage cheese, puffs, crackers, Cheetos, banana bread, and pretty much anything else she can get!  We are still working on sippy cups, she will drink out of it if I hold it, but she hasn't been able to get it in her mouth by herself.  She nurses about 5 times a day as well.  She must have a high metabolism because she will poop at least 4 times a day.  The Dr. said she wasn't concerned about her weight or anything.  She said she looks really good and is just a smaller baby.  She wears 9 month size shirts, 6 and 3-6 months pants and her shorts are 0-3 month size!  The shorts and skirts are all so big in the waist, I bought her some bigger ones, but it will be a long time before they fit her, unless she has a big growth spurt!  

She started army crawling about a week before she turned 9 months.  She has been trying to figure out how to stay up on her knees, but so far hasn't been successful.  She also hasn't figured out how to go back to sitting when she's on her belly.  I'm sure by the end of this month she will though!  It doesn't take long.  She loves to get into whatever Camden has out.  She loves the blocks, potato heads, stacking rings, her baby dolls, minnie mouse, and whatever she can put in her mouth.  She loves to suck on her blanket.  

She is still a big time momma's girl.  She loves Camden and daddy as well.  She doesn't want to be held as much anymore, she usually wants to be down where she can play.  She likes bath time, but doesn't love it as much when Camden gets in with her.  He often scares her or just bugs her.  She has one bottom tooth, and just got a top tooth!  It's one of her dracula teeth though...not the middle!  She is a much better teether than Camden, I usually don't even know that she is teething.  She gets a little cranky, but nothing like Camden.  She does drool A LOT...her shirts are always drenched.  

She is a great sleeper...don't want to jinx myself, but she sleeps through the night.  From 8-8:30pm to about 7:30am.  She takes two naps a day.  One in the morning and one in the afternoon.  She is always happy, and sweet. She has started a little stink face where she will turn up her nose.  I think it's adorable!  I have been trying to teach her to wave, and she's starting to pick it up!  She loves to babble all day.  She says what sounds like momma and dadda, but that's about it.  She has the cutest little laugh and is pretty ticklish.  She is such a joy in our lives.  We love her so much and love seeing her learn new things every day.  We are so thankful she is part of our family!  We love our Sienna girl!
