Everly 6 Months

6 Month Stats:

Weight:  12 lbs 11 oz  (2nd%)
Height:  25 inches  (12%)
Head:  16 3/4 inches  (25%)

This little lady is already 6 months old!  I can't belive how fast time goes.  She is a petite little thing!  She only gained about 5 ounces from 4 months.  And she weighs exactly what Sienna weighed at 6 months!  The Dr. wasn't too happy with it though, and said that I have to get her to eat solids twice a day now.  I have tried feeding her, but she is really not a fan yet.  I will have to keep trying!  He said other than not gaining much, she looks great!  She had to get lots of shots, plus a flu shot, and I felt so bad for her.  But she recovered quickly.  I have to go back in a month to get a booster for the flu shot and do a weight check, so hopefully she starts to like food!
She is a happy baby, and is attached to mom, but not too bad.  She will let other people hold her, but if she sees me coming towards her, she gets really excited and wants me to take her.  She isn't rolling around very much.  She can roll from belly to back, but she hates being on her belly so most of the time she will just cry.  She has found her feet though, and I love when she lays and plays with them.  It's so cute!  She's not sitting up by herself yet, but we keep practicing and I think that it will be soon! She likes to play with toys and grab for things.  She still likes to play with her hands as well, or my fingers.  She still sucks on her bottom lip.  She loves her blankets and loves to snuggle her face in them.
She has regressed in sleeping majorly.  She was sleeping through the night before the 4 month regression, and it has become even worse now.  She is waking up about 2 times a night.  I have tried to let her just cry and go back to sleep, but she is persistent and will cry for an hour.  Blah!  It sucks for me, so I end up just getting up to feed her since it only takes about 10 mins and she will go back to sleep.  Not what I want to do, but she is stubborn.  And I don't have a room for just her to put her in so that makes it harder.  Hopefully she will start to figure it out again and sleep through the night so I can stick her with Sienna.  She is a good napper though, she takes 2 a day, and they are about 2-3 hours each!  The afternoon one overlaps with Sienna's so I get a nice break as well!
She loves bath time, and splashing her legs in the water.  She is still a little stubborn with her smiles and laughing, but she has been doing it more lately.  She is a sweet little baby and we all love her so much!  The kids love giving her their toys and talking to her and giving her lots of hugs and kisses.  We love our Everly so much and are so happy that she is in our family!
