Happy Father's Day to our favorite guy!  I had the kids pick out a card for him and, of course, there was a dog on the front of it!  We got him a couple of shirts, mambas, and the card.  He had already got a bunch of new clothes for work and play, that we counted towards Father's day as well.  We had a fun day hanging out together, and I made him his favorite dessert, Hot Fudge Cake.  We got to FaceTime with Grandpa Clark as well, so it was a great day!  So thankful for all the dad's and grandpa's in our lives!

We had to spend some unexpected time and money, and got this new/used car!  We knew there was something wrong with our car, but we were not expecting to hear that it needed $4000 worth of work done.  And if it didn't get fixed, it would eventually just die on me.  :(  They basically told us we would be better off trading it in, since that was all it was worth anyways.  So off we went, looking for something more reliable!  Car shopping is absolutely the worst, but we finally ended up finding a 2011 QX56 for a good deal.  So a little upgrade from what we had, and much more reliable!  It was definitely not something we were planning on getting, we were hoping my car would go another 4-5 years so that Eric could get something new.  But of course, plans never work the way you think or want!  We are grateful we were able to find something though, since we had a short amount of time to get something before leaving on vacation!
