Pretty Texas sunrise!
There are SO SO many of these turbines, I don't remember where in Texas we were, but this picture doesn't even show how many there were!
Surprisingly my kids are good during road trips. Everly probably had the hardest time, because she's one and there wasn't anything to do. But we tried to give her toys, and food, and she would complain but then eventually take a nap. We had lots of movies, coloring books, imagine ink books, stickers, and snacks to keep them entertained. Camden also had his leap pad that he used quite a bit.
Trying to decide if she liked the grass. It was really soft, so she didn't mind it too much!
We drove to Albuquerque the first day. It really wasn't bad, we left pretty early in the morning, I think like 5am, and got to Albuquerque by 4pm. We did gain the hour, which was nice! Our hotel was just down the road for the temple, so we decided to go see it, then grabbed dinner at Chick-Fil-A for the kids and Firehouse Subs for us. I was a little disappointed that our hotel only had an indoor pool, and it was tiny. It was also super cold water! They kids liked it, but I was more than happy to stay out and take some pics. We didn't end up staying in the pool too long, Sienna pooped in her diaper and we had to go. Every time we would tell her not to poop, she did. Haha! Oh well. The kids did pretty well sleeping in the hotel, Camden fell off the couch in the middle of the night onto Sienna, but other than that it worked out!
We made it to Utah! 2nd day drive was still pretty good, kids were just a little more restless because it was the 2nd day of being in the car all day! We were happy to see this sign though!
The first thing my kids wanted to do every day was to jump on the trampoline! It was the first thing they wanted to do when we got to G&G's house! We spent a lot of time of our trip at splash pads, pools, parks, and playing in the backyard. It's really the little things that the kids loved the most, so even though it would have been more fun for me to go hiking or to Park City or do fun things like that, we kept it pretty low key for our trip. It's just hard to do so much or to plan ahead when you have babies and little ones who need naps! We still had lots of fun though!
It's always a good time at the Lindon Pool! The kids loved the lazy river and slides the most.
We went shopping at the Outlets one morning!
I love this picture of their big grins! SO cute!
Oh little Chase, he was so cute! He would always give me little hugs!
At the Lehi splash pad! The water was cold, but it was so hot outside that it was refreshing! The kids loved it!
