Christmas 2018

We spent Christmas Eve with the Teachout's at Jackie and Christian's house.  We had tamales, fajitas, and lots of yummy sides and desserts.  I'm never good about taking pictures while we are there, but the kids loved playing outside, and even Everly was being nice to everyone there and was throwing a ball around!

I did the 12 days of Christmas with Christmas books.  I wrapped twelve books and every night, 12 days before Christmas, they would get to open a book and we would read it.  Most of the books were ones we already had, but I added in a few new ones!  It was fun and the kids looked forward to it each night!

So excited for Santa to come!

He came!

Checking out our cookies and milk that we left out for Santa.  He ate them!

Princess Aurora is her favorite!  Because she's pink!

Forgot to take the price tag off...oops!  Almost all of her gifts were Minnie themed, she loves Minnie Mouse.

Fancy Nancy pajamas!

His big book of Pokemon characters!

So sad that there were no more presents!  Haha!  Really, she was mad that she couldn't take Camden's gifts.

Chocolate at 10am, sure why not!

Christmas Day pic!  And Sienna won this unicorn headband, which she loved.  But then left it at Angie's and we haven't seen it since! Ha!

We had a great Christmas!  The kids kinda forgot it was Christmas when they woke up, they were just trying to get us to go downstairs to eat breakfast.  So I asked Sienna if it was Christmas, and she looked out my window and said, I don't see any snowflakes, and it's not snowing, so I guess not!  Ha! Poor girl, had to explain to her that it doesn't snow here...often.  Then they ran downstairs to check, and came back up telling us that Santa came!
They were all super excited to open all of their gifts, they wanted to just open them all at once!  Camden gave us the best reaction to his gifts.  After opening each one, he would say, hey this is just what I wanted, yay!  He was hard to buy for this year, all he really wanted was the nintendo switch, with the new Mario Smash Bros game.  But Santa thought he was still a little young for it, and instead got him some awesome Pokemon and Mario stuff.  Despite not getting the new system, I asked him if he had a good Christmas, and he said yes, it was awesome.  I got everything I wanted!  Phew!  He was still happy about everything.  He got lots of fun stuff.  Pokemon coloring books, colored pencils, a big book of Pokemon, a Pokemon seek and find book, Mario remote control car, Mario Kart Monopoly, Pokemon legos, a Mario cube matching game, Mario checkers, a nerf football, a light up football, bunchems, Mario Bros shirt (I did mention he loves Mario and Pokemon, right?!), Beyblades, and a SpiderMan mask and glove with webs he can throw (silly string) that he got from G&G Clark.
Sienna didn't give a lot of reactions, she was always just looking ahead to what she could open next.  But she got a Wellie Wisher doll, Fancy Nancy Doll, Fancy Nancy pjs, Fancy Nancy stuffed dog, Princess Aurora doll, Pinkalicious doll and books, princess beads to make into necklaces, peppa pig marker book, colored pencils, a little cabbage patch play school, and I would say her favorite gift was probably her fake makeup and little makeup station that she got!  It has been her most used gift so far!  She also got little hair dresser stuff too that fits in it and she loves doing our hair.  She got a Minnie doll with accessories from G&G Clark that Everly was very jealous about!
Everly had a Minnie themed Christmas.  She got Minnie and Mickey stuffed animals, little Minnie's, a Minnie water bottle, Minnie house, a scooter Minnie (she goes by herself when you press her bow) Minnie bike, Minnie happy helpers purse with sunglasses, phone, wallet, and a really cute Cabbage Patch doll from G&G Clark that she loves to carry around everywhere!  She seriously loves Minnie and was so excited about them all!  She did try to steal everyone else's gifts as well, cause that's just what she does.  We had a lot of fun playing with all the new stuff.
We had dinner with Eric's family at Angie's house that night.  We also played the saran wrap game with candy, prizes and money.  It got a little heated, but Camden ended up with $10!  All he really wanted was a little light up bouncy ball, so I had to really convince him that $10 was better!  We all got lots of candy though and I think Sienna ended up with $1 too.  I didn't get any pics of it, cause I was videoing it.  But it was fun, and Camden was the only one who cried...we really thought there would be more to cry!  It was a really fun day though.  We all had a wonderful Christmas!
