I thought I would end the year right, by getting the kids some donuts on New Year's Eve! It turned out to be more of an adventure pain than I would have wanted! To start things off, the first donut place that I went to was closed...ughh, so then I had to drive 20 mins to get to Krispy Kreme because the kids were already so excited to get donuts that I couldn't let them down. We don't have a lot of donut places by us, other than the grocery store ones, so off we went. Got to Krispy Kreme, got donuts, they kids loved them, got back in the car and it wouldn't start! I was so annoyed!! My battery had died so I had to call roadside assistance to get it jumped because I didn't have our jumper cables in my car. Sitting in the car in the parking lot at Krispy Kreme waiting for 45 mins for someone to come is not fun. Especially with three kids who just ate a ton of sugar!! Haha!! Luckily the car started right up when it got jumped, but it was not how I wanted to spend my morning! At least we had donuts, I guess!
That night we left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa for a date night to the Alamo Bowl to watch the Utes play! We really wish the Utes would have shown up to play...it wasn't a very fun game to be at. But at least we got a date night out of it, best way to end the year!!

Jason really wanted to go to that game as well but he was so mad at the Utes and how they played. What a fun date night though ❤️
