Our last day of school was June 3rd. Kinder had a little graduation outside that we were able to watch and then go home at the end. It was pouring rain before it started so we were all trying to stay under the covering. When they started walking out the front door to get to their spot, each class had one person that stayed and held the door open for everyone and then they were supposed to join at the end of the class and someone from the next class would hold it after. Well, Sienna was the one holding the door for everyone and they were the first class out. She didn't join her class when the next class came so she ended up holding the door for everyone in Kinder. Haha I could tell she didn't know what to do and was starting to get upset, so I had to tell her teacher that she was still by the front door. Poor girl! I wasn't close to her, but her teacher went and got her and she was able to get over it quickly! She didn't realize that she was supposed to just join her class and someone else would hold the door. But it was a cute little program. They sang some songs and then the teacher presented each person their certificate and said a little something about them. Mrs. Nielsen said that Sienna is an incredible reader, which she is, and she loved having her in her class! We really loved Mrs. Nielsen and were so glad that Camden and Sienna both got to have her! I wish the Everly could have her too, but we will be at our new school by then. Sienna had a really great year and grew and learned so much!
The pictures of Camden with his class were all from the last week of school that his teacher sent out. They got to do a lot of fun activities the last week. Camden had Mrs. Gillaspia for his teacher this year. He had a great year and really grew a lot! Kinder and 1st were a success and now it's time to have a fun summer!
