We spent Thanksgiving in AZ this year and had so much fun! We left about noon, and we were going to stop in Las Cruces, NM, but when we tried to find a hotel room there was nothing left. So we decided to just drive the whole way to Brittney's. It made for a very late night, we got in around 1:30am, but it worked out! Next time, we will just leave earlier in the day so we don't get there so late. The first day that we were there we went to the Mesa temple open house. It was so nice to go and have the kids be able to go through and see the rooms in the temple. The next few days we played at the park, played baseball, went on a hike, date night for the adults, went to a Christmas place that had games and lights, and movie nights outside. My kids loved jumping on the trampoline with Grandma and Grandpa, swimming in the hot tub, and hanging out with their cousins. It was a fun filled week and we loved spending so much time with our family. So grateful that we were able to go. Can't wait for the next time!
