Lately

This was the crowd in the metro after the game, it took awhile to get home, but better than being stuck in traffic on the freeway.

Don't judge us....we did not have 2 ice cream cones each....haha we just aren't coordinated enough to hold it and the camera to take the pics.

We found out that the large yacht in this picture is $14 million!! It was really nice!

 It's been awhile since I have blogged about anything, it's been hard to have the motivation to do it.  But here it is, finally!  We were able to go to a National's game at the end of April through Eric's work.  We had seats at center field and free food.  It was a nice, warm night too so we had a lot of fun and they won!  We decided to take the Metro into DC so we didn't have to deal with traffic, and as you can see from the picture, it was a little crowded trying to get home.  It was nice to get out and do something though, because Eric had been so busy at work and was working all the time.  Thankfully busy season is over and we can get out and do more fun things!  Yesterday, we headed to Old Town Alexandria and walked around a little, and then headed across the bridge to Maryland and walked around National Harbor.  It was a really nice day and neat to see everything.  We saw the Avengers this last week as well, and really liked it.  I think the best part of the movie was Iron Man, he's just so funny!  But overall it was good!
Last, but not least, I finally found a job!!  It took a couple of months, but I worked with a temp agency and was able to find a temp to perm position at Washington Gas Energy Services.  It is a 8-5, M-F job, and it's only 15 mins away, so not a bad commute at all!  Plus, I go against traffic, which is ideal.  I have been there for a month, and just found out on Friday that they are going to make me a permanent employee in about a month! So that's great news!   It is an office coordinator position.  I sit at the front desk, but don't have to stay there all day.  I have to get up a lot actually and they have a cordless that I take with me.  Sometimes that gets annoying but it's nice to not be chained to my desk!  So no more lazy days at home for me.  It's been really good so far and everyone is really nice, so I think it will be a great experience for me.
I am still working on decorating our apartment, so hopefully this month I will get it together and post some pics!
