Camden has hit the 8 month mark! He is all over the place. He has started crawling and pulling himself up to things. He also started to pull himself up in his crib, so we had to lower it. He started out crawling by doing the army crawl with a little belly flop, but has figured out the way to do it with his arms and hands now. He's not super fast yet, but he is getting into a lot more things and I can't leave him alone!
He is still teething, but no teeth have come in yet. We have had some rough days of just crying all day because of it. I hope that something pops through soon! He is still nursing, but I recently got him to take water and juice from a bottle, so I just need to sneak some formula in it! He also eats oatmeal, and most of the fruits and veggies. I let him try a popsicle one day, it was even lime flavored, and he loved it! I thought it would be too tart, but he couldn't get enough of it!
He loves his little Michigan soccer ball, basketball and football…mostly he likes to eat them, but he can throw them too! He started growling and likes to make lots of noises. So far he says what sounds like mama, dada, baba and one time it sounded like he said ball. He likes listening to himself and thinks he is pretty funny!
He was not into getting his picture taken this time around, but when I gave him his balls he perked up a little bit. He is usually a smiley guy and a people person. He has started separation anxiety, when we leave a room he knows and cries. We hope he gets over that pretty quickly! For the most part he is a happy baby and we are lucky to have him in our family! We love him and love watching him grow and learn new things each day!
