Beach Week Part 3

 Our last day on the beach!  We got there in the morning again, and decided to go a little further down so we didn't have to be so close to others.  It worked out perfect, we had lots of space and it was nice to have a little part of the beach to ourselves!  The kids played together the best this day.  They were building and digging the sand; running in the water and just having a good time.  We were close to the Bob Hall Pier, which you can see in the pictures.  It is supposed to be one of the longest piers on the coast. After spending a few hours at the beach we went back and swam at the pool.  After nap time and dinner, we went back to Corpus Christi for some ice cream.  The kids really aren't into ice cream, but it was a nice little treat!  We played card games every night when the kids were in bed, which is not my dad's favorite thing, but it was fun!  

We left on Thursday morning.  The drive back was pretty uneventful.  We stopped at McDonald's for lunch since the kids always want to go there.  We had so much playing at the beach with Grandma and Grandpa and are so glad that they were able to come!  Can't wait until next time!
