Everly 2 1/2 Years

This girl is full of personality!!  Miss Everly is quite the sassy little 2 1/2 year old.  She has always been doing things her way, and in her own time, since she was born and it hasn't changed!  She plays the role of being the baby of the family very well.  She loves playing with her brother and sister, never wanting to be left out.  She seems to be the alpha with her older sister, often taking her things and making her cry.  She is still mostly a momma's girl, but loves Daddy.  Especially if everyone is hanging all over him.  She always wants mom to put her to bed.
She is starting to talk, and a lot of the time it is hard to figure out what she is saying.  But she is trying and it is getting better little by little to understand her and communicate with her.  But she is talking all the time now and is usually very loud.  Just like her brother and sister.  :)  She whines a lot as well, which I know she learned from her sister.  She likes to copy everything that Sienna does, good or bad.  I think that they are going to have a strong bond...with a lot of fighting.  As sisters do.  I'm grateful that they have each other.
She loves all the girly things.  Always wants a bow in her hair, loves to wear necklaces, bracelets, and dresses.  She loves pink and purple.  Her most favorite toys are baby dolls.  She is obsessed with babies.  She will point them out everywhere we are and keep saying, "mom, baby!", until you acknowledge it.  She will watch a few shows, but the only movies that keep her attention are Moana, Boss Baby, and Frozen.  They are the only ones that she will actually sit and watch.  So they are on repeat A LOT!  The only show on TV that she ever picks is Masha and the Bear.   She is currently Frozen obsessed after seeing Frozen 2 in the movie theatre over thanksgiving.  We can't wait until it comes out to add to the rotation.
She loves looking at books.  She will get as many books as she can and look through them.  Our books are very well loved.  She loves her blankets, and has started calling it her me-me.  I don't know why or how it came to that, but that's what she calls it and she is obsessed with it.  She always has at least one, usually two or three baby dolls that she has to carry with her everywhere.  All around the house and in the car.
She loves to play outside and get out every toy that we have, only to play with them for a few minutes and then is on to the next.  She loves bubbles, and going down the slides at the park.  She always thinks she likes to swing, but once she starts, it never lasts very long.
She is still a picky eater.  She still eats the fruit and veggie packets every day at lunch, and an oatmeal  or yogurt one at breakfast.  I always try to get her to eat more real fruits and vegetables, but I haven't been very successful.  She will eat strawberries, that's her favorite, and occasionally she will eat broccoli or apples.  She recently started liking gogurts as well.  She loves treats, and is usually motivated to eat her food to get a treat!
She is a good sleeper.  Sleeps through the night and takes a 2 - 2 1/2 hour nap every day.  She really just loves to do anything that her sister is doing, or having what her sister has.  They do well sharing a room, except when one wakes up the other way too early!  Everly always wakes up happy and ready to go for the day.  She's not good at sharing toys, but she will if she has to.  She likes to color, mostly getting it all over my table or floor, but she does like it.
She likes to cuddle when you can get her to sit still, play with my hair, and just be where everyone is. She is such a character and we love her so, so much!  She's silly, and fun, and I can't wait to see her personality come out even more!  We love you, Everly!  So grateful that you are in our family!
