We had our ward Halloween party a couple of days before Halloween. The kids had lots of fun eating candy, getting their faces painted, playing games, and walking in the costume parade! We didn't have a trunk or treat this year, and I think it was a great decision! We saved all the candy for trick or treating!
Sienna had her Halloween party at school the day before Halloween. She was so excited to wear her costume. They did a craft, made a witch's hat cupcake and played a game. It was a fun little party!
Camden's school had their book character parade on Halloween! I think it was their way of getting around the rule that you don't dress up for Halloween at school here. Basically you could dress up as any character you liked, it could be a chapter book, picture book, comic book, anything you wanted! You just had to bring the book too! Camden chose Black Panther. It was so cute watching them all walk by in the parade!
We had a fun night trick or treating! We had Spiderman, Pirate Tinker Bell, and Sofia the First. We went in Angie's neighborhood again, but our group has gotten smaller. Only Drake and Kya came. It was a pretty chilly night, so the girls didn't make it too long. Once Everly had some candy in her bag, she was content to stay in the wagon for the rest of the time, eating it. Camden was all about getting as much as he could, and he and Drake would run from house to house. It was a successful night and they all got a ton of candy!!
