Picking up rolly pollies (I have no idea how to spell that!)...She will get a whole hand full!

Trying to have some fun with the sprinklers, and someone always has to have a bad attitude.  Haha!

Church at home.

Lots of dress-up!

This girl is silly!

She is Frozen obsessed!  She wants to watch it everyday!

Always want to play video games.

A couple of assignments that Camden did for school.

Well we are now stuck in the life of quarantine and distance learning for the forseeable future.  Texas started their Stay at Home order sometime the end of March.  I don't remember the exact date.  So we are just trying to figure out this new normal.  We really miss school and the routines that we had.  We are sad that our soccer season is now postponed until who knows when, and just sad for all of the things that we can't do.  Life didn't change too dramatically for us as I know it has for so many other people.  My kids are still so young that they don't really know what is going on and they won't even remember this time.  I feel so bad for all the older kids, especially the seniors that are missing out on everything.  It just isn't fair.  But despite this, I have been trying to remain optimistic for the future, because we know that this will come to an end and the future is bright.  I'm grateful that we have a living prophet who gives us guidance and assurance during these hard and sometimes scary times.  So I am choosing to have faith over fear and to always look for the good things that are happening during this time.
We have been playing outside as much as the weather will let us.  Our typical spring means it could be 80-90 one day and 50-60 the next!  So we are just trying to enjoy everyday!  We have been jumping on the trampoline, going on walks. blowing bubbles, riding bikes, and writing on the sidewalk with chalk!  We have had more screen time than normal, but when distance learning started it helped us to get a schedule for the day which I appreciated!  I might have a different view of distance learning than others because I only have to deal with one kid, but it has been nice that they send things for Camden to do so that his brain keeps working and learning.  He complains a lot, and we definitely clash.  I am a mean teacher, but someday he will appreciate that I made him read and write!  We are hopeful that we will soon be able to have our normal routines back soon!
